Aviation/Aerospace A private pilot, Jim began his major market advertising
career at Marsteller, then the largest business-to-business agency in
the country. As a "copy contact" account manager Jim not only managed
the agency-client relationship, he wrote copy introducing the Falcon
10, 20 and 50, the
Sikorsky S-76 helicopter,
and Piper general aviation aircraft to the American
market.
He created advertising for
United Technologies and its Pratt & Whitney,
Norden Systems,
and Hamilton Standard companies.
At Doremus he crafted
award-winning Leonardo da Vinci-inspired ads made famous by Martin
Marietta Aerospace, and wrote corporate advertising for Singer
Products and Services for Government businesses. Over the years he has
also written capabilities pieces for technical innovator Northrop Systems,
brochures and newsletters for aircraft charter companies and FBOs, and
even a trade magazine article on FLIR technology. |
